The part (f) of the symbol is composed of a numeral indicating the approximate value of the outer diameter of the open end or the skirt end of the cap shell.
The number located at (f) is preceded by a multiplication sign (x). The figure indicates that the skirt does not include an approximate outside diameter of the bell mouth or an inside diameter of the open end, in mm.
For example: B22d / 25 × 26 - refers to the total length of about 25mm, skirt diameter of 26mm B22 lamp.
